When you think back on holidays past—do you remember the specific gifts you got—or the way you felt when you were surrounded by people you care about?

This holiday season, avoid getting caught up in the habit of overspending or buying just to buy…

You can give everyone on your list a meaningful gift without going into debt.

DIY gifts cost little to nothing for you to make, and can be priceless to the receiver.

For example, if you are creative, consider making homemade crafts, such as candles or spa-style bath products.

If you love to cook, spend a day baking bread, holiday pies, fresh jams, iced cookies—or even making a traditional family treat to share with everyone.

Looking to save money and avoid clutter for the recipient? Donate to a charity in that person’s name—make sure to select a charity that matches the recipient's passions.

If you need to give a family gift, think about arranging an experience. Pre-planning and booking a trip that everyone can travel to together gives the entire family a chance to explore the world (or just your local town!) will create a shared experience you can all cherish.

Try out any of these less traditional gift ideas and you will be sure to make this holiday season one to remember—for you and your loved ones.

Before you know it, the holidays will be over and the New Year will be here—and you can start 2023 off clutter-free! Registration is open for the next De-Stress Your Mess Challenge! from Monday, January 9, 2023 through January 13, 2023. Don’t miss out… join us today!
